Arduino: Increasing hardware and software interaction

Arduino is an open source hardware that can be used to easily prototype and connect hardware and software to interact with sensors and devices automatically or in response of an input from, for example, a mobile device. All thanks to such small controller that can be wearable. The whole concept is aimed at facilitating the individual use of hard- and software, empowering the so-called “internet of things”.

Thanks to this technology, our clothes can “talk” to tell a nurse that a patient has fever or indicate with blinkers in our jacket that we are going to turn left with our bicycle at the next corner. It can also control crops watering or cattle feeding to ensure the best growing conditions anytime from anywhere just from a standard smartphone. Leisure, health, corporations, R&D, security, defense… This technology covers a full spectrum of possibilities in any market.

With the added value of its expertise in mobility, Genaker is already integrating Arduino hardware in its projects and is also creating new solutions to fit the detected market needs. Soon we will introduce you to these new developments.
